The release date for Grand Theft Auto: Euro Trip, is 10th December 2011.This is because, we want to make a dramatic build up to the game. The teaser trailer will be released on 1st January 2011 called “The holidays aren’t what they seem” and the first trailer will be released February 1st 2011 as this will be round about when they might start to lack interest of the game, this is the reminder. The trailers will be released every month, although the month before it is released there will be 2 teaser trailers to keep the suspense of the game. These will be released, one every 2 weeks so that is 26th November 2011 and 3rd December2011. The game will be released first on Xbox360 , on the 1st June 2012 the game will be released to playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo DS and PC. Grand Theft Auto: Euro Trip will work with interactive game also such as the Nintendo wii and the Xbox kinect device. The Nintendo wii will be released in June but the Xbox kinect device will be an exclusive and will be released the same time as the Xbox 360, on 10th December 2011.
We will put wanted posters in different cities, revealing a character from that country .The character will be someone that is well known within that country . We will also do interviews for magazines as the producers . The interview will be an exclusive for a British magazine as The UK is a well known country in Europe, then Germany etc. They will be released every month so each country is still interested . This will start from March 5th 2011 and so on.
After 2 months, We will release adverts of the game on TV. The date to be released will be 10th June 2011. 2 months before release, the adverts will stop and only the teaser trailers will be played. This will grab the viewer’s attention and keep them in suspense.
The official website will be created 5th March 2011. Therefore the interview exclusive can be online but we will also include information about the game that is updated from time to time and people will be able to have a say in the game, and give feedback about the trailers, which will help us with our games in the future and give us an understanding of what the public want from a sandbox game.
20th June 2011, will be when we start to advertise billboards, we have chosen this date because it will be in the summer time when the holidays are and also, it is less likely to rain so the billboards won’t get ruined with the rain.
To help our advertisement, we would get Banksy to create some graffiti around cities for us. This may be of the game or it could be certain images which will appear in the actual game itself giving, the game a more realistic feel.
We will put a pre-order in Amazon for the game as well. You will be able to pre-order from 10th November 2011. If you pre-order, you will receive, free stickers, a case, Map of Europe( Grand Theft Auto style), a free demo of the next Grand Theft Auto game and the soundtrack of the game, all for an extra £5.
This game includes convergence as it is similar to the other games of Grand Theft Auto series. We will use synergy by marketing the magazine interview the same day as the website is created.
Rodrigo Magrete (the main character) finds out that he has been fostered. In a journey to find his true biological parents, he risks his life and has to expect the unexpected. Rodrigo travels from country to country to follow the last tracings of his family, including, England, Norway, Italy and Portugal.
